I bought this partly because the dog smashed its predecessor but mainly because we have 3 computers dotted round the house and I wanted them all to be able to print from the same printer wirelessly.
Set up was bit lengthier than for previous printers but pretty straightforward and the main aim of all printers printing to it was achieved without drama.
I have had no call to print photos but all the other functions have worked perfectly.
The bonus is it's a far smarter and more professional looking machine than I have ever owned before.Paper feed is (so far) a dream. Controls are easy, it's pretty quiet, and it looks good. Very happy with it.

I have been struggling with an inadequate printer for such a long time! This Canon printer is wonderful. It produces photographs quickly and very easily and the quality is good. It prints word documents really quickly too and copies single sheets - a feature I didn't even realise it had. Highly recommended!

Unpacking and loading the cartridges was quite easy, just follow the booklet of instructions or on screen help for this and all aspects.
Wireless connection was fine (aided by MW's comments below), basically found the LAN setting on the screen of the printer, entered my wireless router password and hit ok. Searched for the printer on the mac, it recognised the Canon MP560, but would not let me add it as I had no drivers at this stage.
I then downloaded corresponding Mac 10.4.11 drivers from the Canon website for the print and scan functions. Once opened, I was able to see that the Canon560 printer was recognised properly by my Mac, and I printed and scanned without any trouble right away.
Prints and copies fine and good quality, looking forward to photographs now!

I gave up on installing the wireless option and purchased a USB lead.
Apart from this it is an excellent printer/copier/scanner, very easy to use, very clear ink level information and the print quality is very good.

This is a quality product. Excellent and natural photo prints,good and fairly fast scanned items with the same quality printing.All in all the perfect all in one printer for the home....it does what it says on the box!
