Printer arrived on time. The printer worked out of the box on both a windows
7 x 64 and a windows 7 x 32 system. The software supplied leaves a lot to be desired not up to doing anything with really. I downloaded the latest drivers before installing so that there was no problem upgrading once on the system. It would be nice to have full size cartridges included rather than the half filled ones. The black has already run out after a few weeks.
Quality of photos is very good, better than the 2 year old canon it replaced.

I bought one of these 8 months ago - nothing but trouble. It drinks ink, so is very expensive to run. I contacted HP a couple of days after purchase; some problems I still have to receive a reply to. If you do have any trouble, HP are very adept at getting you to repair it for them. My ink mechanism failed - I had to wait 2 weeks for them to get 1 to me, then install it (inky fingers!). I had to obtain spare printer while waiting for this.
Software is USA only; the likes of A4 & measurements in mm are not available, so have to convert 'Letter' & inches each time, or setup a duplicate for each style of printing (Docs & photos). Some functions work intermittently. Wireless printing tends to keep printing, e.g. when I used HP software download to set up wireless printing from my PC it's procedure to print of a test photo printed off 5 copies before I cancelled the print. Then it started again when I had left it alone, then again, & again... If you turn it off & on, it still prints at will.
Flimsy paper stop snapped off & not repairable / replaceable without replacing whole feed tray.
Other problems too many to mention.

My last printer was also HP 5510 All-in-One Office which last for about 4 years but I was planning to change it. I was checking amazon and some other sites to get a good one but don't want to spend too much money on printer. I saw this one which really amazed me but I thought its a bit expensive for me but they it was offered half price and I bought it.
Over-all the result is excellent as it uses thermal technology whereas the built in bluetooth & Wi-Fi gives extra peace of mind. You can connect via cable or use it as a network printer. When you are installing the printer make sure use usb cable because it will not gives you any problem of installation otherwise its a bit annoying to wait for the installation process.
DVD/CD printing, photo paper printing and general printing is very good however, I am still trying to figure out how to use duplex/two side printing but I recommend this one if you want to a really good printing with everything you are expecting from a printer.
