We are still struggling with this printer after having it for about 3 years! The problems start when printing onto photo paper. Images print in the wrong place or only part of the image is printed. Have tried many different software programs and print settings but there is no logic to it. Keep the settings the same and still get variable results. The only thing that this printer is good at is identifying when you have used compatible ink cartridges rather than genuine HP cartridges.
I would go as far as to say that I hate this printer!

I have owned this printer for 18 months or more. I am actually on this website to buy a new printer because this one is so very very dreadful and I have now had enough of it. List of common problems :-
1) Chewing paper
2) Refusing to cancel jobs
3) Wont turn off properly - you'll just have to unplug it.
4) Will print letterbox photos...when it feels like it.
5) Software hangs
I have installed and reinstalled the software and drivers on several occasions and i regulary reinstall Windows. It makes no difference. In short this is a very temperamental printer and you'll regret buying it.

Excellent value for money, full feature unit, real bonus us the colour display... may dad is well please with it as was an xmas present.

This printer is awful. I had to return it after three months. It will not print directly from the internet. Software installation instructions are poor. HP customer support is abysmal. Do not buy.
